Who will attend: Anyone interested in making a drum in a native method. There will be a ceremony before and after the drum making hence the timing will be appropriate for the need of the day and group. Date: May 30, 2009 Time: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Class size: Limited to 16 people Cost: $250 - includes materials for 18" drum (drum elk hide, stick hide elk or deer, hoop laminated oak trim), instructor, and facility. Bring your own lunch. Kitchen with fridge, microwave and stove with oven is available. Fees to be paid in full 2 weeks prior to May 30th. Cash or cheque by May 15th. Cheque payable to 'Roberta Baker', RR1 New Norway, Ab T0B 3L0 Advanced payment required for the purchase and preparation of material in advance of the workshop enables us to complete our drums in a one day workshop.

Instructor: Len Brunin - Wildlife artist, Outdoorsman. Len has been leading drum making workshops, circles and pipe cermonies for many years. He brings his knowledge, humor and spirituality to these workshops, tuning into the groups needs. http://waboskins.com/artwork.php
